When playing an Arkivesi PC in Starfinder games set in Elyrion, use the following stats:

Ability Adjustments: See below.

Hit Points: 3

Size and Type:

Arkivesi are Small constructs with the Arkivesi subtype, though unlike other constructs, they have Constitution scores. An arkivesi who has invested 3 or more attunement points is Medium instead.

Assembly Nature:

Many types of Arkivesi roam Elyrion, each with their own quirks resulting from their vast lifespans.

Warped arkivesi have acquired many strange quirks in their cognition over the millenia. They gain+2 con, +2 int, and -2 wis.

Stable arkivesi have been able to maintain their consciousness effectively, although the degradations of time have still taken their toll. They gain +2 con, +2 wis, and -2 cha.

Dynamic arkivesi were the pinnacle of the ancient maker's engineering, and even millenia later still retain some of their expanded capabilities. Dynamic arkivesi gain 1 additional attunement point (see the Animation Engine feature).

Archotech Soul:

As constructs, arkivesi can benefit from spells such as Make Whole, although such spells restore only half the normal HP (but can have their full effect when restoring stamina). arkivesi count as living creatures for the purposes of magic healing effects that work on living creatures, though the number of Hit Points restored in such cases is halved. A character must use the Engineering skill to perform the tasks of the Medicine skill on arkivesi. Arkivesi also heal naturally over time as living creatures do, and can benefit from magic or technology that can bring constructs back from the dead, as well as effects that normally can’t (such as raise dead).

Animation Engine:

As an Arkivesi, you have an innate capacity to absorb and animate arbitrary matter. You have a pool of 3 attunement points that reflect your ability to control a more elaborate body.

Each of the following costs 1 point. You may take any improvement more than once, but each subsequent attunement costs 2 points instead.

Altering your body requires an hour per point you wish to re-invest. In order to change your layout, you must have access to sufficient parts and materials to make the needed modifications to your body. While organic matter can be used in your body, you have no innate capacity to prevent its natural decay. Most Arkivesi prefer to construct their bodies from abandoned robot parts, as these are cheap and easy to control and maintain.

Substantially altering your body plan may require you to modify your armor to fit your new form, at the GM’s discretion.

The following attunements are available to you:

Nimble Frame - you gain +10 feet of movement speed.

Manipulating Appendage - you gain an extra hand.

Strengthened Fasteners - your bulk limits for becoming encumbered and overburdened are doubled.

Sturdy Plating - You gain 1 additional HP for every 2 levels. You cannot take this attunement more than once.

Modular Port - You gain an armor upgrade slot. The upgrade must be found or purchased separately.
