The Light Bringer is the oldest of the gods, born in a time so long ago that even the stars themselves cannot remember. The Light Bringer is a god at once defined by the grandest and most intimate parts of the world. They are the god of stars and creation, as well as patrons of the home and hearth. They symbolize both the grandest and most personal orders of the universe. The Light Bringer is also a god of fire, in all its forms. They illuminate and warm, but can just as easily burn and purify; the flames of the stars are nigh impossible to quench. They are the oldest and the most alien of the gods.

Origin and Mythology

When magic first began to pool and swirl around the mass of Elyrion, it is said that those first sparks of the arcane gave life to the Light Bringer. Awoken to a formless galaxy, he took it upon himself to give it its first light. For millennia he labored, and formed from the dust of the core and the martialled might of the young cosmos’ magic the Beacon, the light that bound Elyrion to the divine. Sparking to life this greatest of stars, he watched as its light shone on the empty vasts, from which the galaxy’s countless billion worlds would one day spring.
