A mysterious nation located in the eastern reaches of Aenaz, the Conclave of Anaszca held sway over vast swathes of territory which they protected fiercely with machines of mysterious and arcane clockwork blended with incredibly sophisticated technologies for their location. While they suffered in the years leading up to their breakup from the afflictions of a fading empire, archeological evidence uncovers an incredibly long history of Anaszcan presences throughout eastern Jun'an stretching back more than two thousand years. Few foreign sources have much to say on the Conclabe’s internal affairs. Visitors, while not openly welcomed, were permitted, if barely tolerated, but any violation of their many sacred traditions may end badly— typically in the form of an Anaszcan Ilex'ca rifle pressed to the offender’s forehead. While the Conclave was rather secretive and closed off to the rest of the world, their capabilities were not to be ignored; even in the throes of their disintegration in the 640’s, their military dealt frightening blows to the emerging national movements that eventually supplanted them.
