Wars of Mutes and Trumpets

The Wars of Mutes and Trumpets were a series of conflicts between the House D’Rames and a series of coalitions of lesser nobles over control of the Dutchy of Cygnus between 2471 and 2527, with both sides being supported by neighboring fiefdoms, Amber Star concerns, and the Imperial House Paladis at various stages. The wars resulted in the termination of several of the revolting noble lines and the substantial reorganization of the Dutchy, with the House D’Rames successfully establishing a much greater degree of control over their vassal territories.
